I'm Back!

To find the positive in life and present it in the pages of Footsteps is a personal goal of mine. I believe that in all of life a silver lining exist and we only have to open our eyes and heart to see it. But friends, my February Sun Hunt was a complete and absolute bust. As you can see my last post was on February 20th and today is March 11th.

So what happened in the interim?  I got "that which is going around" or as I have named it the Voldemort disease. The doctor never called it a cold, the flu or anything else, he just said, "You have what is going around" and pumped me with high-powered antibiotics and steroids. Voldemort lingered and I languished on the sofa as the TV droned on in the background. After reaching my murder saturation level watching the good folks of Bones, CSI, Criminal Intent, NCIS, The Mentalist and Law and Order present and solve horrific killings, I became reacquainted with Andy of Mayberry, Little Joe and his brothers on Bonanza and Hawkeye and the medical team of the 4077. While the change of programming was positive, I still felt I was wasting my time but Voldemort kept me pinned to the sofa.

I am now back in New York...just in time for the March snow showers.  The urge to whine is just under the surface but truthfully, as I watch the snow falling, I find that I am pleased to be home to see what all New Yorkers hope is the last snow storm of the season. I also know the snow crocuses will bloom next week when temperatures hit 50 degrees. I am back and ready to get back into life.  The posts will once again be up on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and maybe I will even have a few stories to share from my failed February Sun Hunt. Here's to a healthier spring and a plan that comes together.

Hugs,
C
